Food and Drink

Our restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a special meal with friends and family.

Rules and fussiness are kept to a minimum; our aim is to provide a relaxed and informal eating and drinking experience. We’d like to think that our service is friendly and attentive and in no way obtrusive, the perfect mix in our opinion!

Head Chef Tom Drinkall has created a Menu which is a fabulous showcase for the regions produce, as well as his talents, and features many local specialities using the freshest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

Dining is available throughout the pub and we’ve two open fireplaces so you can enjoy your dining experience without sacrificing the atmosphere of this country pub.

The bar is incredibly well stocked with real ales, thoughtfully selected wines and an extensive selection of brandies, whiskies as well as other more exotic spirits and liqueurs, we give most pubs in the area a run for their money! Our beers are from Bowland Brewery and Moorhouses whilst our Wine List has been crafted by the hugely respected D. Byrne & Co. of Clitheroe, known locally as Byrnes.

Teas and coffees are served all day and there are books, books and more books for your perusal. If you pop in for a drink you definitely won’t be short of something to read!
