We are currently looking for a Bar Manager to join the team at the Shireburn Arms we provide superb service to our guests, a warm and friendly atmosphere and effortless attention to detail.

About the Job
You’ll be responsible for managing the bar to the highest of standards. Working with your team you’ll ensure the restaurant is set up and ready at all times of service, and that staff are providing a warm and welcoming service. You’ll have responsibility for managing staff performance, recognition, training and development. It’s important that we maintain good communication within the restaurant and across all departments to ensure we work effectively and create a seamless customer experience.

You’ll already be or have experience of being a Bar Manager as well as:

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • A strong customer service focus with the motivation to consistently drive high service levels.
  • Experience of managing a team – ensuring duties are clear, monitoring performance and providing feedback, motivating and leading the team, preparing rotas
  • The ability to work in a high pressured environment with a calm character.
  • Results driven and motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour
